Coach Travers is also in his first year here at SCC as an assistant coach. Tim is an alumnus of UC Santa Barbara. He is entering his 20th year of coaching beginning at Santa Monica HS as the Junior Varsity Coach where he compiled a 62-23 record. He then coached at Big Bear HS for one year going 11-7. He has been the Head Varsity Coach at El Toro HS up until last year when he decided to join the college ranks. From 1980-94 Coach Travers compiled a 175-172 overall record with an impressive 10 CIF playoff appearances to his team's credit. His teams' best finish was in 1990 when he guided El Toro to the CIF Semi-Finals. The team finished 22-6 that year.

Tim teaches US History at El Toro HS. He also lives in El Toro with his wife Dovey and their daughter Devon.
