Mike Jones begins his first season as an assistant coach in SCC men's basketball program. "When I accepted the job, there was one person who I wanted to assist me and that was Mike," says head coach Cameron Dollar. "Mike brings forth a wealth of experience to our program; we are fortunate to have him."

Jones coached at Manual Arts High School, Salesian High School, Pasadena high school, and Pasadena City College. "I love to work with young men," says Jones. "I am really excited to be part of the SCC program."

Jones and his wife, Jenelle, reside in Altadena. They have three children Idris, Saran, and Ozier.
