The athlete:  Brett begins his sophomore season after having a solid freshman year…played in 27 of 32 games last year…started in 12…averaged 4.8 points per game…2003 graduate of Putnam City North High School…played for Coach Bill Robertson in the Metro Conference…two-time 1st-Team All-Conference…OBCA All-Star…Offensive Player of the Year…HM All-State as a senior…scored a career-high of 38 points in a game…averaged in double figures in scoring and rebounding…also played football at PCHS…played AAU Basketball for the OC Hoyas…talented inside player with good range…will battle for time on the court this year…worked hard in the off season to add strength…very gifted shooter…will be counted on to play both inside and on the perimeter this season…has a lot of potential when he is focused…could become a quality player in the GSAC with experience and development…is also a future team leader…has a bright career with the Lions.
