The Athlete: Brandon came to Vanguard University from Santa Rosa Junior College where he played for Steve Done... he is going to have a great career at Vanguard University... he combines quickness and strength with the ability to shoot the ball either off the dribble or as a spot-up shooter... he can really put the clamps on defensively... he has all the qualities that you hope to get in a JC transfer... he plays and practices with the intensity that comes from having "been through the wars" and he's simply willing to do whatever it takes to win.

The Person: Brandon's nickname is B ... he was born March 1, 1978, to Terrance and Pamela Cablay... he is a business major... Michael Jordan is his sports hero... he would most like to meet MJ and God... has learned to take life one day at a time... he would like to be someone who touches other people's lives.
