The athlete: Zachary joins the Lions after spending last season at Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo, California and Head Coach Bob Miller in the West Coast Conference…hit two homers in an extra inning win to advance them in the playoffs…graduated in 2003 from South Umpqua High School in Tri-City, Oregon where he played for Head Coach John O’Malley in the Far West Conference…2^nd Team All-State and Oregon All-Star performer…multi-talented athlete that was All-League in Basketball, Offensive Player of the Year in football, 1^st Team QB Marines Athlete of the Year…bats and throws right…versatile, can play any infield position…good power…solid defender.

The person: Zachary Rollin Marden Falk was born on April 23, 1984 in Canyonville, Oregon to parents Greg and Marcia…has four siblings…people just call him Zack…Business Administration major…enjoys American food and cookies ’n cream ice cream…favorite movie is “Nacho Libre”….enjoys watching “King of the Hill” on TV…likes the color light tan and the number nine…sports hero is Manny Ramirez…favorite actor is Owen Wilson…also like to wakeboard.
