The athlete: Will returns for his second season at Vanguard…graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School where he played baseball under Coach Tip Lefbvre…named to the 1st team All-Sierra League…bats and throws right…saw limited action as a freshman…contributed mostly with his speed on the base paths…hard working student-athlete…plays second base and outfield…hit his first collegiate home run at the Region II Tournament last spring…team player who adds depth and versatility…solid individual on and off the field.

The person: William Noble was born on January 12, 1983 in Downey, California…parents are Bill and Susan Noble…call him “Will” for short…is a Pre-Med major…loves Mexican and Italian food…cheers for the Anaheim Angels…sports hero is David Eckstein…collects sports memorabilia…likes the depth of this year’s team…sports has taught him about perseverance and how to overcome obstacles …wants to eventually become a doctor.
