The athlete:  Tyler joins his older brother Ethan for his first stint with the Lions in 2008 after graduating from Liberty High School in Bakersfield, California in 2007…three-time Coaches Award winner with Head Coach Rob Amble…played three years for the Cardinals’ Scout Team…bats and throws right…has played baseball for 14 years…aggressive hitter, good arm…intense, hard worker.

The person:  Tyler was born in Ventura, CA to parents Bill and Lynn on July 7, 1988…has two brothers and a sister…planning to major in Political Science…likes eating at “In-N-Out” and loves chocolate ice cream…favorite movie is “Out Cold” and TV show is “The Office”…like the color blue and the number 28…roots for the St. Louis Cardinals…sports hero is Barry Bonds…favorite Bible verse is Mark 8:36…enjoys playing the guitar…most respects his parents for being able to provide…has not learned enough about life…learned discipline from baseball…would like to become an attorney.

His thoughts:  I selected Vanguard because of the atmosphere.
