The athlete: Nick joins the Lions after being a part of the 2007 California Community College State Champions at Riverside Community College with Head Coach Dennis Rogers…hit .297 with 13 homers, 40 RBIs and 39 runs in 2008…was drafted in the 20th round by the Washington Nationals in the 2008 MLB Draft…will be transitioning from the infield to the outfield at VUSC…graduated in 2006 from Los Angeles High School in Los Angeles, California where he played for Head Coach Jose Mendez…drafted out of High School by the Los Angeles Dodgers…was also a state finalist in the 400m relay as a junior…also played football and track…played four years of club with the Angels Elite, Dodgers Elite and Area Code teams…has played for 11 years…bats and throws right.
