The athlete:  Justin joins the Blue and Gold for his freshman season after graduating from Liberty High School in Bakersfield, California in 2007…played for Head Coach Tony Mills…also played one year for Brant Brown “The Swing”…also played football…bats and throws left…has played baseball for 15 years…soft, crafty lefty with good command of three pitches.

The person:  Justin was born in Redding, California to parents Vince and Carlette on May 17, 1988…has two sisters…majoring in Business…enjoys eating lasagna and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream…favorite Bible verse is Romans 3:23…roots for the LA Dodgers…sports hero is Russell Martin…favorite actor is Will Smith…most respects his dad because he is a great man…says the most important characteristic for a person to have is trustworthiness…learned that life is unpredictable…baseball has taught him patience…career goal is to work hard and be the best at what he does.

His thoughts:  I selected Vanguard to get closer to God.
