2026: Season one in college for Sur was as good as advertised, and maybe event better.  The freshman collected a .313 average with 45 hits in 144 at-bats, and he finished second on VU in hits while pacing the squad with eight home runs and 27 RBI.  He got his first hit in his first game, which rounded into an RBI triple.  He belted his first home run at Jessup to start the road series, giving him his first multi-RBI (three) and multi-hit (three) game.  He had 11 multi-hit games and seven total multi-RBI games, and he had a pair of four-hit games as his season best.  He slugged .563, and with 23 walks, he netted an OBP of .422.  He had a seven-game hitting streak during the season and ended on a five-game one,  He made 71 putouts in the outfield and came up with two assists without any errors for the Blue and Gold.

HIGH SCHOOL: A member of one of the best High School teams in recent memory, Sur was Top-25 in the state of California in Batting Average (.380). He had an OPS of 1.005, driving in 22 runs on 35 knocks. Defensively, he did not commit an error.
