The athlete: Jason returns to the Blue and Gold for his senior season?one of the main contributors for the Pride in 2010?started 13 games on the mound for VUSC, and went 4-3?had a 4.33 ERA, with 27 K's in 62.1 innings pitched?also started 31 games in the field, and hit .287 with four homeruns and 21 RBI?

transferred from Cal State Fullerton?played two seasons for Head Coach Dave Serrano?made 31 appearances for the Titans, primarily out of the bullpen?highlight was striking out six batters in 5.2 innings of two-hit, shutout relief in a win over Southern Mississippi University?before playing at CSUF, graduated in 2007 from La Mirada High School, in La Mirada, California?played for Kim Brocks at LMHS?was named All-League from 2005 to 2007, and was All-CIF in those same years?led his team to the CIF finals at Dodger Stadium?played three seasons of club baseball for SoCal Mariners?has been playing baseball for 18 years?brings great experience to the bump for VU?also can slide over and play first base?is a team captain ?should have another productive season for the Pride in 2011.
