The athlete: Jason transferred to Vanguard this season after playing two seasons at Northwest Nazarene University…played baseball, basketball and football for Nampa Senior High School… bats and throws right handed…will see time on the mound and in the outfield for the Lions in 2003…experienced transfer hoping to step in and make an immediate impact for Vanguard…athletic and strong…expect a strong season for Brunett.

The person: Jason was born on February 10, 1981 in Seattle, WA…father is John Brunett…cheers for the Seattle Mariners…enjoys eating Mexican food…favorite TV show is “Sports Center”…feels that the biggest problem in the world is poverty…likes the talent of this year’s team…has learned in life that if you put everything in God’s hands you’ll be happy…wants to become a husband and father.
