The athlete: James will don the Blue and Gold uniform for the second time in 2011, as a senior?was 4-0 on the hill for the Pride in 2010, with a 5.82 ERA?made 17 appearances for the Lions, striking out 22 in 43.1 innings pitched?transferred in to the VU program from Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California?played two seasons of ball for Coach Stacey Parker in the South Coast Conference?was primarily a reliever for Mt. SAC?earned a 1-0 record in 14 appearances for the Mounties?recorded 12 strikeouts in 16 innings of work?played high school baseball for Coach Dan Henley at Glendora High School in Glendora, California?graduated from GHS in 2007 with a 3.3 GPA?also played football in high school?has been playing baseball for 17 years?very hard worker who continues to improve?could see time out of the bullpen for Vanguard in 2010.
