The athlete:  David played baseball, football and basketball for Faith Christian High School…named to the 1^stteam All-Metro League team his junior year…brings hard work and enthusiasm to the team…has speed that will help the team in a lot of ways this season.

The person:  David Martin was born November 12, 1982 in Lakewood, Colorado…parents are Jack and Laura Martin…will major in Communications…favorite team is the Colorado Rockies…sports hero is Todd Helton…loves to eat steak…thinks the best thing about this year’s team is the great sense of humor to go along with the great team unity…sports has taught him that failure is a part of life…wants to become a sportscaster.

His thoughts:  I chose Vanguard University because it’s a small Christian school with great weather.  I like the amount of people at VU who are genuine about their relationship with Christ.
