2025: In Perez's first year as a Lion, he started 16 of 24 appearances in different capacities (15 starts at DH, 1 start at 1B, 4 games at 1B off the bench, 3 PH, 1 game P in relief). After his first career multi-hit game (2-4, RBI) at Point Loma in February, Perez's usage picked up starting in March. He had back-to-back two-hit games in the Hilo series to match his career-high-- a mark he hit five times overall this season. A three-run blast in game one of the Menlo series was his first in college. That was the start of three consecutive games with a long-ball. All four of his homers this season came at home. He had a personal-best eight-game hit-streak from March 19 to April 12. He finished the season batting .351 and an OPS of 1.045-- both clubhouse highs. Perez also threw an inning on the mound at Hawaii Pacific, giving up two hits, but recording his three outs on two fly-outs along with fielding a comebacker to not allow a run.
