The athlete:  Chris rejoins the Lions for his final season after leading the team with six wins as a junior on the mound…overall went 6-3 with a 3.29 ERA in nine starts and 14 total appearances with two complete games…pitched 65.2 innings and was the team leader with 43 strikeouts…2008 GSAC and NAIA Scholar Athlete Award winner…started eight games as a sophomore throwing a complete game and getting a pair of wins in 11 total appearances…played one season at Cornell University after completing his high school career at Resurrection Christian School in Colorado… recorded 40 strikeouts and a 4.15 ERA in 43.1 innings pitched while at Cornell…graduated from high school in 2005, carrying a 3.7 GPA in the classroom…Three-time All-State baseball player…2005 Pitcher of the Year for Colorado 2A…four-time Team MVP…had a .88 ERA and .535 batting average in high school…four-sport high school athlete…played basketball, baseball, football, and soccer…has played baseball since he was five years old…throws right…bats left… hard worker that is strong and athletic…hard thrower with good movement…nasty curveball.
