Birthday: October 10, 2006



2025: Perez started 30 of 38 games as a freshman for Vanguard, and had plenty of heroics early. In his first collegiate appearance, Perez entered in the ninth inning of a tie game with bases loaded. Without lifting his bat once, Perez watched a 3-2 pitch go inside to walk-off CSULA, giving VU their first win in the Division-II era. Just a week later, Perez once again had a walk-off, this time wearing a pitch with bases loaded on a 3-2 count. On the season, Perez was a tremendous backstop, hosing down 12 runners trying to steal, which was third most in the conference (most among catchers with only 30 starts). Offensively, Perez drew 17 walks and tallied 13 RBIs. He had his only multi-hit game of the season against Point Loma (2-3) which included his first of two doubles. Perez swung on the first pitch he saw in the bottom of the eighth vs Jessup for his first career home-run.

Greek Mythology

What is the dumbest way you have gotten hurt?
I was around 7-8 years old. Swung a tee ball bat a basketball pitched to me and the bat bounced back and hit my eye. Needed stitches

What is your favorite memory of watching a sporting event, either in person or on TV?
Freddie Freeman Walk Off Grand Slam in Game 1. watched it in Huntington floor 6 with my teammates
