The athlete:  Adam is back for his final season of collegiate baseball and second season with the Lions…injuries limited his participation in 2006…came to Vanguard from Irvine Valley College where he played two seasons…played for Coach Kent Madole in the Orange Empire conference at IVC…graduated from Foothill High School in Santa Ana in 2002…Second-Team All-Century League player as a senior…earned Gold Glove award in 2001…two-sport high school athlete…also played soccer…has played baseball for 15 years…competed for the Devil Rays and Braves scout teams…went to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point after high school but did not play…bats right…throws right…catcher with solid experience…meshed well with the team in his first season…will contribute with senior leadership in 2007 for the Lions…strong player…good power at the plate…good arm strength…hopes to close his career on a very strong note.
