SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- VU men's cross country also raced at The Master's Invite this morning and
Jesse O'Campo led Vanguard with a finish in 37th place, clocking a time of 25:59.80. The Lions were 12th as a team out of the 20 that raced, and TMU won both the team and individual trophies.
What Happened? Ommar Arroyo was the next runner for Vanguard to cross the line, as he finished in 60th with a 26:32.6, an improvement of 11 seconds from the VU invite.
Cooper Anderson was across the line about 20 seconds later, as he finished in 26:54.80 in 81st.
Caleb Dickerson ended in 123rd with a time of 27:56.2 (an improvement of a minute from race one of 2025),
Rylan Starnes was in 173rd after a race of 29:26.6, dropping nearly 25 seconds off his time from September 5, and
Josiah Kirby was 178th after a time of 29:46.80
What was Said? "Our men raced very well today and we improved on our 8K time as a team from what we did two weeks ago on an easier course," Said Head Coach
Bryan Wilkins. "I'm very pleased with the progress this group is making. We have some great things in store for us in the coming weeks."
