AUSTIN, Texas – Vanguard designated hitter Isaiah Lee (SR/Santa Ana, CA) was named to the 2022 Academic All-America® baseball team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Wednesday morning.
A member of the Academic All-America® First Team, Lee becomes the 10th Vanguard student-athlete to receive the prestigious honor – and the first since Amber Alexander in women's basketball in 2018.
Lee, who earlier was named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District 4, graduated in May with a 3.95 GPA in Business Administration. He was a three-time member of the GSAC Scholar-Athlete Team.
