Vanguard University

Ally Garrett serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Recreation and Compliance Coordinator at Vanguard University, where she has been part of the Lion's staff since 2022. She handles pieces of NCAA compliance for student-athletes and oversees campus recreation programs, including the Fitness Center & Intramurals. 

Ally earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/ Physical Education from Biola University awhile competing on the Eagles' NCAA DII women’s volleyball team.  She had 290 kills and a .265 hitting percentage at BU, while totallying 20 solo blocks and 137 block assists during her three years as an Eagle, and she graduated in 2018. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Management from Azusa Pacific University, graduating in 2020. She is currently pursuing another Master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. 

She is married to Steven Garrett and they have a son, Elijah.
