The Athlete: Cara joins the Blue and Gold for her freshman season, after graduating from Temescal Canyon High School in 2010?swam for coach Damien Andrews?also played water polo at TCHS?graduated with an excellent GPA of 4.0?has been swimming for four years.
The Person: Cara was born on July 6, 1992, in Riverside, California?parents are Mike and Kebra?has a younger brother, Devin?majoring in English?enjoys eating at "Mimi's"?watches "I Love Lucy" on TV and likes the movie "Elf"?thinks compassion is important?likes the scripture Philippians 4:13?hobbies are wakeboarding, surfing, boating, reading, and knitting?most respects her parents?has learned that life is not fair but that's what makes it interesting?swimming has taught her patience?wants to qualify for Nationals.
