The athlete: Silina graduated from Calvary Chapel Christian School in Las Vegas. The 2000 graduate played volleyball, basketball, softball, and tennis and high school. She brings a solid tennis background into her first season of collegiate tennis and is a talented player and a hard-working girl. She is calm under pressure and always willing to learn.

The person: Selena was born in Las Vegas Nevada on February 11, 1982. Her parents are Mark and Kathy Yohner and has yet to declare a major. Her sports hero is Lance Armstrong and her favorite movie is Runaway Bride. She likes to eat pizza and watch his movies. She would like to meet Lindsay Davenport and has patience endurance and perseverance.

Her thoughts: I came to Vanguard University to be part of a small campus community. The people are really friendly and caring.
