The athlete: Rikke competed in sports at school while in Denmark. She was coached by Jen in Denmark. She was a top 15 junior player in Denmark from the age of 12 until 18. She begins her collegiate tennis career with the Lions this season. She will make the line stronger at the higher end of the lineup and brings great personality, as well as internationalness to the women’s team

The person: Reich was born on November 8, 1980, and Rose Clyde Denmark to her parents Per and Liz. She will major in business and her sports hero is Pete Sampras. She likes the TV show Friends and her favorite book is all around the town. Participating in athletics has taught her respect and discipline. 

Her thoughts: I thought Vanguard seemed like an exciting place to go. I really like the people I’ve met in my teammates on the tennis team.
