Vanguard: Was a newcomer to Lions' Tennis last season ... she had a foot injury which clearly made her first season a little disappointing

Previous School: Attended Oslo University in Norway last fall semester where she played for coach Pawel Strauss and was No. two on the team

High School: Graduated from Nadderrud VGS, in Bekkestua, Norway, where she played for coach Pawel Strauss ... was No. two on the team ... team won the Norwegian Open ... Nina has been playing tennis for 15 years

Personal: Nina was born in Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 18 ... parents are Damir and Silvana ... has an older sister, Lola ... favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11
