Vanguard University

The athlete: Megan begins her second season on the tennis team at Vanguard. She was the Indiana State double champion at North Ridge high school and has an academic all GSAC player on the lien volleyball team. She played in the number three position last season and is a strong athlete who works hard and never gives up. She’s a balanced student-athlete who will also be a spiritual leader on the team.

The person: Megan was born on July 28, 1980, in Elkhart Indiana to her parents Bob and Bonnie Godfrey. Mathematics is her major and her favorite movie is Tommy boy. She likes the ice cream and routes for Notre Dame and enjoys taking pictures skiing and riding ATVs. She would like to meet Max Lucado and feels the biggest problem in the world is pride. She wants to be a wife, mother, math teacher, and volleyball coach.

Her thoughts: I picked Vanguard because I wanted to attend a Christian university where I could play two sports. The things I like most at Vanguard are the delivery boys and Vanguard hall 101.
