Vanguard University

Jelena played her final season of collegiate tennis at Vanguard in 2008, making a big impact in her one season at VU. She competed in the No. 3 singles position and combined to form the No. 2 doubles team for the Lions, earning NAIA and ITA All-America honors as a senior for VU. She had an overall singles record of 21-2 and a doubles mark of 19-4, helping the Lion women finish 23-5 overall and 7-2 in GSAC. The team was ranked third in the nation and finished tied for third at the NAIA National Tournament.

A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Jelena will be completing her Business Administration degree and helping Coach Johansson and the Lion women as much as her schedule permits.
