The athlete: Amy has had two strong seasons at VU?returns as the most veteran player on the roster in 2006?has an overall singles record of 31-12 at VUSC?combined for a 21-4 doubles record in 2005, primarily in the top doubles position?came to VU from Redding, California where she was a Shasta Secondary Home School member?had a 3.8 grade point average from high school?competed in tennis for Foothill High School in Redding?played the #1 singles position all four years?was an All-League player in singles and doubles?right-handed?has played tennis for ten years?will be a first-year team captain for the Lions in 2006?has played a large role in VU's outstanding success the past two seasons?has improved personally each season and is expected to continue that progress?will most likely play in the #2 singles position as a junior?very consistent player?works hard?good conditioning and great endurance on the court helps her play very solid tennis?well-rounded student-athlete?charter member of VU's LIONS within the Champions of Character Program Center?look for Brown to make an even bigger impact in 2006.
