Jeff Anderson was selected as the Head Golf Coach in December 2017 and guides the men’s

and women’s programs. During their first season of competition (2019), the Vanguard Women captured the GSAC Championship by 25 strokes and earned a berth in the NAIA National Championships. He has coached four All-GSAC players, the women's GSAC Freshmen of the Year in 2022,  and was named GSAC Coach of the Year in 2019 (women).  His women's squad came back from 16 shots down in the 2024 GSAC Championship to end tied with Hope International to earn a second conference title.

Prior to Vanguard:

Anderson has served in the professional golf world for over a decade, bringing years of expertise to the new program. Locally, he has served as the Assistant Golf Professional at some of the top public and private clubs in the area. He is a Level One PGA of America Class B-8 recognition from the Golf Professional Southern California Section. His years of experience in the golf world, including serving as a golf professional at six different Golf Clubs. Anderson has served as the men's and women's golf head coach at Pacifica Christian High School since 2014. Before this, he worked as head coach for the Biola University men's golf team for one season.

Personal:

Anderson married his wife Leslie in 2017 and the couple lives in Yorba Linda along with their three dogs, a cat, and a pet turtle.
