Shubin was hired as the assistant golf coach after a highly successful career in the PacWest Conference. A four-time All-PacWest golfer, Shubin finished in the top 10 at the PacWest Championships in four of her entries into the tournament. She is the reigning PacWest Player of the Year and helped Biola capture the PacWest title in the team's final season. Before moving to Biola, Shubin spent five years at Dominican, where she won the PacWest individual title in 2022. She was DUC's Female Student Athlete of the year that season and was the PacWest Scholar Athlete of the Year as well. With plenty of collegiate experience to draw upon, Shubin also boasts five years of experience as an assistant professional golf instructor in the Bay Area and will be an immense resource for the Lions in their first year of full membership in the NCAA DII.
