Biography
Vanguard: Freshman Ruth Amaya is excited to start her career as a Vanguard!
High School: Athlete of the year at Alisal High School in Salinas, California, Ruth Amaya ran cross country, track, and played basketball. In track, she was a four-year letterman, set a new school record and was two years voted most improved. Amaya also received the Most Valuable and Most Inspirational awards for her cross-country team.
Personal: Ruth Amaya is an English and Education major from Salinas, California. Parents Bernardo and Carmen are excited about her academic and athletic success.
