The athlete: Katrina joins the Lions after graduating from Madera High School in Madera, CA?ran for Head Coach Rich Parris in the Tri-River Athletic League?won the Most Improved, Coach's Award, Varsity Award and Captain's Award?PR of 20:04 in the 5K as a state qualifier?also ran track while posting personal records of 5:34 in the 1600m and 11:42 in the 3200m runs?has been running for four years?also played for City Soccer for two years.

Coach Bryan's comment: Katrina is a very welcome addition to the team. She is coming off a stellar senior year in high school and may just be scratching the surface of her true potential. Katrina has the talent to contribute in the teams' top five this fall. I am very excited to have Katrina in the mix and anxious to see her develop to the next level.
