Biography
The athlete: Hollie graduated in 2000 from Calaveras High School where she ran track, and played soccer and volleyball…will be trying out the sport of cross country for the first time this fall…anticipates that her distance training will benefit her for the sprints and hurdles in track next spring…talented athlete who will add depth to the cross country team.
The person: Born June 22, 1982 in Stockton, California to Ken and Irene Wright…oldest of six children…will major in Biology…loves blended iced mochas with hazel and cinnamon…favorite team is the SF 49’ers…likes to go backpacking and kneeboarding…would like to meet her future husband…believes the biggest problem in the world is people living without Jesus…would like to become a doctor and work overseas.
Her thoughts: The friendly environment, smiling people, and the beach attracted her to Vanguard. She really likes the cookies at the cafeteria.
