Biography
The athlete: Carrie begins her collegiate cross country career at Vanguard this season…graduated from Hayward High School in Hayward, California…also ran track and played basketball in high school…Top Runner in high school…Most Spirited…has run cross country for four years…personal best in the three mile is 19:55…ran a 2:24 in the 800m in track in high school…will have to adjust to the collegiate distance and competition…is a welcome addition to the Lions this fall and supply much needed depth to the roster…will be a solid top five contributor and has the potential to develop into an outstanding runner.
