Vanguard University

Stephen came to Vanguard University a year ago as a player on VU's first-ever water polo season. He completed his eligibility in the spring with Vanguard's swim team posting solid seasons in both sports. Cettel returns to VU this fall to help Coach Carrera as a student assistant while he continues to pursue his undergraduate degree. His passion for the sport will help him reach out to his former teammates and new water polo players on Vanguard's team.

Prior to coming to Vanguard, Cettel played one season for West Valley Junior College in Saratoga, California. He prepped at Marist High School where he was named first-team All-Conference in water polo and was a multi-sport athlete.
