2026: Transferring to VU, Veldman ended with 254 kills on 582 attempts to end on the top of the team in kills, swings, and hitting percentage (.261) among the outsides.  Veldman had at least one kill in each match and posted 13 games with doubledigits, including a season-high of 18 on April 11 at Menlo.  He also had a streak of seven matches in a row with 10 or more kills from February 27 through the April 3 BYU game.  His most efficient night was the .583 mark he set with 17 kills and three errors on 24 attempts against Edward Waters.  Veldman ended second on the team with 35 aces, and he twice hit four in one game, against Edward Waters and UC Merced.  He had multiple aces in 11 matches.  Defensively, Veldman produced 136 digs, second on the team, and he had at least one in every match, with a single-game high of 14 on April 11 at Menlo.  He had four solo blocks and 31 helpers for 33 total blocks, with his one solo and five block assists at CUI in the final regular season game being his best.  Veldman had 308.5 points during his initial VU campaign.
