The Athlete: Thomas begins his first season for the Lions... freshman from Sursee, Switzerland and graduated from Kantonsschule in Sursee... was a finalist in the Swiss Junior Championships... also played soccer, beach volleyball, and hockey... has played tennis for ten years... younger player with less experience but will be highly motivated and well prepared... will fit in well at Vanguard and with the team... a steady player who should make a contribution even as a freshman.

Thoughts: I chose Vanguard because it is sunny all the time, close to the Beach, and has a great tennis team. I like friendly students, the size of a university, and the atmosphere on the tennis team.
