Coach Johansson Says: "After losing one match in 2 seasons at the #1 position (43-1), as a coach I am very impressed by Stefan’s preparation and work ethic on and off the court. I have had many outstanding #1 players over the years, but I must say that Stefan is the best player I ever coached. The difference from previous standouts is that Stefan is not only a great player, but he also knows how to win tight matches over equally strong opponents which is a very special trait as a tennis player. I expect Stefan to have his best season ever at Vanguard; even though, it is difficult to top what he did in his previous two seasons.  All American 2 years, All GSAC Team 2 years, GSAC Player of the year 2 years, ITA Rookie of the year, ITA player to watch award, #2 ranked player in NAIA.
