High School: Went to the Minerva Institute Zurich before attending Vanguard ... played for coach Roy Sjoegren ... twice was the National Junior Champion ... was top- ten Junior in Europe ... played 10 years of club tennis with Grasshopper Club Zurich 

Personal: Roger was born on January 13 in Zurich, Switzerland ... his parents are Heinz and Jris ... he has one sister, Jasmin ... his favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 31:6

Coach Johansson Says: "Team Captain! Roger has been a great influence on men’s tennis since he first arrived 3 years ago. Have consistently played #2 for us and has done a great job. Maybe a little struggle during parts of last season, but I am very confident Roger will play up to his full potential his last season as a lion. Very few players can generate more power than Roger, and a racket change will let his opponents know that he will be very difficult to beat this year. Fabulous guy that I wish could stay around for a few extra years!! .  All American 3 years, All GSAC Team 2 years, #6 carrier high ranking in NAIA. Huge part of 2 semifinal finishes at the National tournament."
