Coach Johansson Says: "A transfer player from University of Pikeville. Miguel played mostly at eh #3 position at Pikeville, however, I don't think he was even close to reaching his potential there. From what I have seen, he has a much higher level of play and it will be my job to make sure he reaches his potential as a player during the two seasons he has left here at Vanguard. Like most Spanish players, he has good ground stokes and moves very well. I like players who do not give away a lot of unnecessary points to his opponents and I feel Miguel will be one of these players. He will compete for a #3-#6 spot."
