Vanguard: Returns for his third season in 2014-2015

High School: Went to East Bakersfield High School where he played for coach Chris Combs ... was the varsity MVP four years ... three- time Jockey Club award ... Best Male Athlete senior year ... three- time local tennis player of the year ... Team CIF Valley Championship ... four- time league singles championship ... twice was a CIF individuals finalist

Personal: Daymon was born on June 8th to parents Daymon and Marleen in Bakersfield, California ... has an older sister, Alison, and a younger brother, Kaleb, who also plays tennis ... favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11

Coach Mattias Says: "DJ has had amazing first two years at Vanguard, and keeps improving faster than anyone on the team. I am very curious about where his level will be this year and whom he will be able to challenge higher up in the line up. He has clinched the GSAC Tournament championship for us two years in a row – can he do it again?! Very relaxed and quiet guy that I am excited to know that he will also return for his senior year in 2016!!"
