The Athlete: Chris begins his third season and final season with the Lions... transferred to VU from Dallas Baptist ... played two seasons at DBU and served as the team captain in the fall of 2001... graduated from Garland High School in 1999 where he played tennis and baseball... reached the Texas Regional Quarterfinals in doubles in 1996 and was the Texas District Champion in doubles from 1996-1999... has played tennis since he was 12 years old... played number 5 position for Lions in 2003... will compete for the sixth spot this year... has good serve and volley but can also rally from the baseline... still working on the consistencies... spiritual leadership for the team... great work ethic... has improved every year... expect even more from Chris in 2004... strives to play good tennis every time he steps on the court... has been with the team the longest of any player on this year's roster... should have a successful senior year.

Thoughts: I chose Vanguard because Coach Johansson always has a good tennis team. I really like the location and the friends I've made.
