The Athlete: Calle has played for the Lions since 2002 and is a third-year player...went 20-6 in the #2 singles spot last year for the Lions... will be a team captain this season... VU MVP in 2003 and an ALL GSAC member... solid player all around on both forehand and backhand... will compete in the #2 and #6 spots this year... goo strokes, very high self-expectations... voted Most Inspirational for VU in 2002... still developing as a player and is a good student-athlete... Knows what college tennis is all about.
