Biography
The athlete: Justin begins his first season of collegiate competition after using a redshirt season last year…graduated from Burnsville High School in Burnsville, Minnesota in 2000…was a 2-time All-Conference, two-time All-American, and four-time conference champion in high school…will be a major factor in the jumping events…has a personal best of 6-4 ¼ in the high jump, 21-11 in the long jump, and 42-9 in the triple jump…will also compete in the sprints and relays for the Lions…could contend for the GSAC title in the high jump and challenge school records in the long and triple jump.
The person: Justin was born on June 1, 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to his parents Mark and Patti Vagle…has one older brother…nickname is “Juice”…likes to eat Chinese food…favorite movie is “Dumb and Dumber”…roots for the Minnesota Vikings…likes the TV show “The Simpsons”…enjoys participating in sports and going to the lake…would like to meet Chris Carter…has learned from life to roll with the punches…playing sports has taught him to never give up…desires a future of teaching and coaching.
