The athlete: Chris is one of the most dedicated and hard working athletes on the team. . .he will be counted on for production in the hurdles and could see action in the relays. . .his personal best in the 110 M hurdles is 17.22 and 61.13 in the 400 M hurdles.
The person: Born October 15, 1978. . .parents Dave Gordon and Helen Shafer. . .he is a Religion major. . .he likes to eat pasta. . .he enjoys reading, music, running and being with friends. . .he would like to meet Billy Graham. . .he has learned from like to be patient and enjoy each moment. . . wants to become better at track.
His thoughts: I selected VU because of the atmosphere, the people and the teachers. I really enjoy the sun, palm trees, the beach and the good education I am receiving.
