The athlete:  Seth is a junior transfer from Antelope Valley College…predicted to be one of the top three runners for the Lions this season…experienced runner who trained hard during the off-season…best four-mile time is 21:18…is also an outstanding student.

The person:  Seth was born in Reno, Nevada on March 15, 1980 to Gary and Ruth Lantz…graduated from Durango High School in Las Vegas, Neveda in 1998…majoring in Exercise Sports Science…loves spaghetti and the movie “Prefontaine”…favorite place is Big Bear…athletics has taught him that you must be willing to work to be successful…has learned that life is not easy…wants to be a doctor of osteopathic medicine.

His thoughts:  I chose Vanguard because of the great location and the weather.  I like that everyone is so friendly, and that our team gets along so well.
