The athlete:  Kyle was an All-Conference runner at Northfield High School prior to coming to Vanguard…was a three-sport athlete in high school…gifted runner but will need to adapt to the longer race distance at the collegiate level…best 5K time of 17:02…probable top five runner for the Lions this season.

The person:  Born on March 9, 1981 in Farmington, New Mexico to Dan and Starr Kahl…nickname is Crazy K…anticipates majoring in Athletic Training or Pre-Physical Therapy…loves to eat spicy tacos…enjoys basketball, rock climbing, and fishing…favorite movie is “The Matrix”…team of choice is the Timberwolves…life has taught him to play hard and live for today, but keep tomorrow in mind…wants to be an Athletic Trainer for the Timberwolves or the Lakers.
