Jonathan has a very impressive freshman cross country season establishing numerous frosh records. Jon had the highest SCC frosh finish ever at the conference championships placing 12th. He was also the 2nd highest freshman finisher among conference schools. Jon's 115th place at Nationals was an SCC frosh record and his time of 26:23 at Cal Poly Pomona set the frosh 8K record for time. Unfortunately, Jon missed most of the track season due to a stress fracture. He did manage to establish frosh records in the early part of season running 16:27 for 5000 and 34:43 for 10,000. Jon is healthy now and should be ready for a solid sophomore year as one of the Vanguard's top runners.
