COSTA MESA -- The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced the 2026 All-Academic Team today for men's volleyball, and Vanguard had six honorees on the list. To be eligible, a student-athlete is required to have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore, completed at least one full year at the institution, and have played in at least 50% of the team's matches.
The Lions had two sophomores make the cut in the form of
Logan Freemon (Business Administration) and
Braddock Duckworth (Accounting). There were three juniors on the list, represented by
Jenson Wright (Communication),
Logan Finley (Business Administration), and
Micah Sybesma (Kinesiology), with
Brock Henderson (Business) being the lone senior for VU.
Vanguard ended fourth in the league with six selections in 2026 behind USC and Pepperdine, which each had seven. Stanford led the way with nine honorees.
