COSTA MESA -- The MPSF All-Academic Team honorees for 2025 were announced today and three VU players qualified for the award.  Logan Finley (Business), Sean Nguyen (Kinesiology), and Micah Sybesma (Kinesiology) represented Vanguard on the list of 44 total selections across the nine programs in the conference.  This is the second time that Finley has reeled in an academic laurel, as he was named a GSAC and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2023-24, while Nguyen and Sybesma pick up their first selection.
 
To be eligible, the MPSF requires that student-athletes have a 3.00 or better cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically, complete one full academic year at the institution, and play in at least 50 percent or more of the team's games.
